Enquiries to Mrs J. Field, Hon. Secretary
The APAS is committed to advancing the training and qualification of psychoanalysts. When time and/or distance considerations place an undue burden on prospective applicants, training may be offered utilising concentrated analysis. Supervision of training cases and seminar programs will be adapted accordingly but, as with selection and qualification, will be conducted in accordance with the requirements of the APAS training model.
For 2008-9, please contact Mrs J Field, Honorary Secretary, for discussion of how to proceed.

- APOLOGY TO THE STOLEN GENERATION
- The Australian Psychoanalytical Society and the Australian and New Zealand Society of Jungian Analysts understand how powerfully the symbolic and the gestural can affect human beings for good or ill. We therefore celebrate the Government¹s formal apology to the Members of the Stolen Generation on Wednesday, 13th February, 2008, as one momentous step towards Reconciliation and healing which calls for further substantive steps that encourage and engage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in determining their future. We look forward to contributing actively to this process of reparation. Maria Teresa Hooke President, APAS Leon Petchkovsky President, ANZSJA
