1. Papers on the Website of the Australian Psychoanalytical Society Online Journal are to reflect the activities and interests of the APAS. (a) Psychoanalytic papers which have been presented by APAS members at meetings of the APAS or its Branches (b) papers presented by guests of the APAS at any of its meetings at which topics of psychoanalytical interest have been presented (c) Papers written by members of the APAS expressly for placement on the Website (d) other papers of psychoanalytic interest, either offered or invited. 2. Papers placed on the Website are subject to the peer review process. There will be at least two two reviewers who can be members of the Publications Committee and other invited reviewers where deemed necessary. 3. Inasmuch as the Internet more closely resembles "broadcasting" than "publishing", criteria relating to confidentiality are more critical even than in publication in traditional journals. Therefore: (a) any article accepted for placement on the website must not include any extensive case material at all. (b) Clinical vignettes must be brief and only used to illustrate theoretical or conceptual issues in the paper.
